10/10

May was suddenly here, meaning we it was our last month and the end was getting WAAAY too close. Good thing though, people realise and something is happening every day.

Bars: "Last ofs.." means celebrations...

Danes struggling with chopsticks. I don't blame them,
exactly.

Norwegian Gentleman Club: Alexa works at the Norwegian Gentleman Club and when they had their first student dinner, we were all lucky enough to be invited. We all got dressed up nicely and were served a three course meal.

A late night pose

A great night that resulted in a tired day after...

Sailing: Last Saturday, Valerie invited a few of us to come sailing with her and her dad and uncle. It was nothing but amazing! We went around the bay area, under the Bay Bridge and towards Alcatraz. It was perfectly sunny on the sea, and we could see the blanket of fog over Sunset (the suburb I live in).

Frenchie and I

Barbecue: When I got home the guys had organized a barbecue and people started coming over. Good food, good drink and great company.

Hannah brought tissues - the sick corner.

The Finns..

There was a Swedish theme over the bbq.

Last officer meeting: May has been filled with "last times", it's sad, but I must say I'm a little bit relived that I wont be doing IEEC stuff...EVER again!

The Presidents getting sentimental!

I found this lovely moose hanging over the toilet at one
of my friend's place.

Volleyball: We made it to the play-offs, but lost...

Photo shoot: Jon and Ellison filmed and recorded different tongue twisters from different countries.
Du ska ikke kalle Kalle for Kalle, selv om mora til Kalle
kalle Kalle for Kalle
skakke du kalle Kalle for Kalle, for Kalle hete egentli Karl.

The boys in action.

The result of my photo shoot.
Im the born model.

Danish dinner: After a couple of months with Jon begging for a Danih dinner party, the Danes finally descided to go through with it. We spent the whole day (before the party) preparing rye breads, frigadellas, cookies and stuff.

The Gertrud Family on the road again...

We just couldn't get enough of each other, so the weekend after spring break, we went on road trip - south bound. We drove along the coast and ended up in Big Sur. At the coast we topped and admired the foggy coast line.

In Big Sur we went hiking and had a romantic moment at Pfeiffer Beach.

We stayed in a small cabin in the forest. Real Norwegian survival camp style.
Jon got locked out at one point.

Which lead to a towel fight between him and Tarik.

Then Emma tried on the towel, Jon tried on Hannah's jumper and Tarik developed a relationhip with the heater.

We stopped by Santa Cruz on our way home the day after.
We tried out the public toilets here.
