Thursday night, 30 minutes before scheduled, my sister, Thea and myself arrived at SFO (SF airport). A tiny bit exhausted after the long trip we went home and passed out. The early night resulted in an early start Friday. I was out of bed at 6 am, and Thea just after. 10 am we left the house.
The sightseeing day started in Golden Gate Park.
We spent a few hours walking through the park and Hayes street towards Alamo Park
After all the walking we caught the bus to the Norwegian Sjomanns Kirka (Norwegian Church). The had a Christmas Basar on which meant heaps of Norwegian food and things/"souvenirs". Since we were in the area we also stopped by Lumbart St and took the tram to the city.
We ended the day with dinner and Twilight - Breaking Dawn. Ah, amazing movie! At 10 pm - 12 hours after we left the house, all we could do was pass out.
Next morning we managed to sleep until 7 am. After breakfast we went up the hill to a look-out spot, and then to the city for some shopping. We both ended up broke, but with a new wardrobe. So I guess it was worth it.
