"Easter is here, and school is sat aside for a good ten days. We had an easy start on Thursday (Skjaertorsdag - thats the last day of school before the holidays here) where Lene and myself bought lots of lollies and watched The Lion King and heaps of friends episodes".
Now Easter is over, I'm back at school and exam timetables are released. This semester is getting closer to the end. I've even bought my ticket home to Norway.
Good Friday was spent at the city beach, Southbank.
Hairdressing at Southbank
Batman/superman came to say hi
At night we went to a restaurant in Southbank to celebrate Henriettes 22nd. We had brought some "classy" wine and champagne (passion pop), as thats all we were allowed to bring. We continued on to a pool party after we were full (mett in Norwegian, not drunk!) and happy. There we ended up in the pool of course. We went home early to make sure we didn't get a urinary track infection. But going home doesn't mean the party has to stop. We continued with facebooking, goon, cat-hunting and chips at home.
Saturday, we once again took our bikinis for a swim at Southbank. Later, our old house arranged an Easter Break Party in their back yard. There were heaps of people, lots of goon and a good time.
It resulted in a Sunday in bed which was great! It's the first time in ages I've just slept and done nothing, and felt good about it.
Today, ANZAC day, I decided to let the inner housewife come out. First I cleaned the kitchen/living room, then Silje and I went to look for a laundromat in West End. Our washing machine doesnt work, and thats not good when we are going on holidays in a few days. It turned out a laundromat isnt that easy to find. So after walking around the main street of west end with our dirty cloths basket, someone told us it was the other direction. Great, so we started walking. I like these self-service washing places; it gives you an excuse to read a book!
After almost finishing two assignments, and three Friends episodes later, I started on dinner for the kids. Emilia and her friend, Tina, spent the day at Surfers, so I thought I should impress with my amazing cooking skills.
Now I'm seriously exhausted being a housewife. I can't believe people do this every day. I'm definitely getting a maid/butler when I at one point grow up.
