Bug story #2: Last night a massive cockroach decided to enter my room and hide. Since I only have a temporarily floor there are lots of gaps everywhere at the moment. So he went into one gap, and came out of another, and I jumped around like a crazy person with my favorite new bug spray. I got him out in the end, after he had been in all the gaps and high on the walls.
Then five minutes later, a new one came in. Same story with that one, except I newer found him in the end....
Bug story #3: This morning I had plenty of time, so I walked to uni. Bad idea! I was attacked by an enormous little something that bit me harder than nothing I've experienced before. The needle was still stuck in my toe after AND I was bleeding. Dramatic! I even almost kicked my shoe on the road. My dear toe swelled up immediately, and my foot got numb. You might have heard that there are many venomous animals in Australia. Well, thats what went through my head. And after I've studied all this physiology and stuff, I started analyzing the "situation": I once again had to pay the doctor a visit, I would faint and be brought to the hospital in an ambulance. There I would die....
Of course this didn't happen. I got to uni told my friends about my very dramatic walk to uni. Christina gave me some gel to put on and after one hour it didn't hurt any more, and after 2 hours the swelling was gone. So much for nothing!
As I got home today, I got some really exciting news. Cecilie is moving in here tomorrow. Could it get any better?! Definitely not! I called her and gave her the great news, and she sounded really happy about it too. So now we will be one more Norwegian here in "The Princhester".
