West End Girl

After Fiji we have lived a jet-set life around Brissie-town. Lucky it gets dark here or else I’m not sure I would have been able to distinguish between day and night. We have left the house in the morning and come back home after dark. We have been looking at a few houses, and the third one was perfect. So we took it! And moved in yesterday.
Since we finally moved we realised there was quite a lot of things we needed. Therefo
re, we ended up at IKEA. I had forgotten hove much I love that place. Interior-heaven! We started our little trip with kjottbullar (meat balls). DELICIOUS! And left a few hundred dollar poorer.

Cupcake break.

The house is located in West End which is probably one of the best locations in Brisbane. We have everything we need around the corner, and can walk to the city in approximately 15-20 minutes. The closest suburb is Southbank Parklands. It's a massive park with a fake beach and rainforest, lots of restaurant and shops. The house is a student house with 30 rooms, two kitchens, six bathrooms and two floors. So far we are about 15 people here. One Swedish girl, three Swedish boys, two Canadian boys, one Bristish boy, 3-4 Germans boys and Millie and myself. They are all great, so I think I'm gonna like it here!

Welcome to number 25. I had a bit more stuff than I thought.
My fridge and shelves.

The back-yard. BBQ is still to come.

One of the bathrooms.

The hall.

Laundry.

Dinner and one hungry Millie.

I'll put on some photoes of the room when I finish decorating. Or at least when I find the floor again.
